The first piece ever created by Spirit Animals, the Sea Star is the icon of beauty and conservation. Modeled after the the sugar sea star, she hugs the neckline and almost feels alive with her dynamic arms. She is both elegant and powerful, a truly unique emblem of our seas.
This Sea Star is representative of all the perils facing our planet's oceans. Plastic, overfishing, pollution, rising sea temps and commercial whaling are continuing at such speeds that we are nearing our sixth mass extinction--in our oceans.
