What is a Spirit Animal? 

A Spirit Animal is a specific animal with which you identify personally, based on its traits, behaviors or something else that is intangible. Oftentimes, people will just "know" what their Spirit Animal is through feeling. Spirit Animals can change at different times of your life or you can have multiple. Regardless of your Spirit Animal, the idea is that its spirit will guide, inspire, protect and support you through life. 

 

What types of gold do you offer? 

Currently we offer only 14 karat solid yellow gold. We chose to offer only solid as it is the most long lasting and pure form, with no chance that they gold will be rubbed off, as is the case with gold plating or gold vermeil. There's intrinsic value to solid gold that is everlasting. It's no wonder gold has been one of the most valuable objects since 4000 BC. 

We have plans to offer rose gold and other karats of gold in the future.

Can you wear several pendants at once? 

Yes! We are a big fan of the look of stacked pendants. Since our chains are adjustable, you can wear one pendant at 16" and the other at 18". You can also wear multiple on the same chain, depending on the piece.

 

Do I have to buy a chain? 

Of course not! All our pendants are sold without the chain and can be attached to most other chains, cords, etc. We offer a high quality cable chain at an adjustable length as a convenience to you.

What if I don't like the item after it arrives (or my gift recipient doesn't)? 

We understand that jewelry can be very personal and we want you to love it. If you, or your gift recipient, aren't feeling it, we are happy to offer an exchange of the equivalent value within 10 days of the delivery date. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer. We do not offer returns at this time.

I want to create a special piece or place a custom order, how do I do so? 

Spirit Animals is the offspring of a family business that has deep roots in jewelry design and production. If there's something that you want to create, we can do it. Please email hello@spiritanimals.la.

 

How much of my purchase actually goes to the conservation of the animal or habitat? 

We are focused on supporting as much as we can while making our small company grow. We are fully transparent in that we give 5% of the net profits from each pendant to the designated conservation initiative for that animal or habitat. We hope that in the future, as we grow, our proceeds to conservation organizations can grow as well.

We are always looking for ways to spread more light and support for these life-saving conservation initiatives, through not only monetary donations. We aim to  as well as social outreach, community involvement and lifestyle changes. 

 

How do you select your conservation initiatives? 

We've spent a long time researching and monitoring efficacy and impact of the many wildlife and environmental initiatives out there before we chose our designated list of organizations.
